From 2000-2005 number of agents rose 65% and transactions rose only 38%. The 2006 number of sales dropped 8% while the number of agents still rose 8% increasing the dilemma.

 

"Statistically, the average NAR member sold fewer transaction sides in 2005 than in 2000 and in 2006 with the decline in transactions the number was even lower." We would have to conclude the next few years are going to get progressively worse for the average agent.

"Just to get to an acceptable level of agents - a comparable level as in 2000 - NAR membership should drop almost 400,000"

I know it's a crazy market right now.

 

As of right now (it's Saturday about 6:41 pm. as I write this) there are:

32,811 homes for sale on NWMLS

 

Most are bank owned, foreclosure or short sales.

 

Inventory is going the wrong way and until it is corrected most agents are done.

 

And, oh, by the way ... only 2079 sales! That means we have over 15 month of inventory on the market! In other words, if no one listed another home from here forward, it would take over 15 months to sell all of the homes on the market!!

You need daily opportunities to train and learn. That is why my system allows you to learn daily. Multiple trainings a day if you want. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Let me put your mind at ease. The only way possible to guarantee you success is to show you a path that works, give you the tools to get there and then put as many people as possible in front of you. The only way I can put my money up as an ante if I fail is if I have a steady rush of buyers and sellers coming to me each day. Let me share a few things with you (one thing I will share when you move forward is a cool new way I got an extra 100 listing appointments recently from something I normally would have blown off ... I bet it is sitting right under your nose and you and your current broker don't even know it exists).

 

Appointments Set For You - What would it be like if one of your biggest dilemmas was how you were going to get the contract written for your noon appointment before your 2:30 PM appointment shows up. Real problem right? Welcome to my world. Right now we have so many appointments that I need help filling about 100-150 appointments a month. I have a small team so you can understand the strains we are currently feeling.

 

We have Washinton State's most aggressive marketing campaign and need agents able to convert and service our clients. We need to grow because several times we have had to put some marketing on hold because we were having to have clients line up waiting for an available agent. How many agents are you going to hire?

 

Maybe none. I don't run a body shop. I am looking for the right attitude, combined with someone who is willing to work hard.
